| Sewing plant anniversary |

The youngest production unit at Krenholm has just turned 15 years in January.
How did it begin?
In the late 80’s of the last century Krenholm started to open up European and US markets. The textile facility with over a hundred-year history took first steps to settle in the market.
However, sales of grey and partly finished fabrics tended to get less profitable and unpromising. At that very moment the general director O. Klushin together with the chief engineer A. Usk thoroughly studied the situation and decided to launch sewing production at Krenholm.
Building constructions were purchased in Finland, automatic lines for sewing bed sets in Sweden and modern sewing machines in Germany and Japan.
Year by year the Sewing production kept growing and developing. Today the sewing plant employs 690 people, which can offer over 900 various designs of ready-made items. Modern equipment and highly skilled personnel are flexible to customer needs. The main rule for the sewing plant – all for a customer!
Congratulations!
